There is no substitute for eating well balanced, nutritious meals, and quick fixes for the damage caused by stress and caregiver burnout in the form of a pill is just wishful thinking, but research has shown that these natural remedies can help.

Chamomile - is a well known calming herb for short term stress and anxiety. Brewed as a tea, chamomile can sooth a nervous stomach or help you relax into sleep. As an alternative, peppermint (chewed leaves or brewed as tea) can also help ease an upset stomach.

Vitamin B complex - helps restore the adrenal gland which become overtaxed during periods of continuous stress and helps the central nervous system respond to stress.

Vitamin C - an essential anti-oxidant that helps in functionality in many of the bodies systems.

Magnesium - is a mineral supplement that helps muscles in the body relax and is required for proper calcium absorption.
